My Review
It is back to the Outer Banks with Sawyer Bennett’s Sugar on the Edge, book 3 in her Last Call series. This time around may not be in the summer but anytime on the coast is a good visit. Why resist a visit to the coast when there’s a hot, brooding Brit buying a multi-million dollar home on the beach?
We are introduced to Gavin Cooke, a best selling author battling through some darkness with a looming deadline. He meets his match in Savannah Shepherd. First impressions have Gavin thinking Savannah would make a “fantastically kooky” character in one of his books…so honest she may be a bit dim, perfect as monster bait. As they get to know each other, they realize there’s more to the other than see on the surface.
SB gives us another great trip to the Outer Banks and Last Call with Sugar on the Edge. There are cameos of Casey, Brody, Alyssa, Gabby and Hunter but it is all about Sweet and Filthy. Can’t wait to see what the next drink at the Last Call holds for us!

USA Today Best-Selling author, Sawyer Bennett, is a snarky southern woman and reformed trial lawyer who decided to finally start putting on paper all of the stories that were floating in her head. She is married to a mobster (well, a market researcher) and they have two big, furry dogs who hog the bed. Sawyer would like to report she doesn’t have many weaknesses but can be bribed with a nominal amount of milk chocolate.
