You know how it ends, now see how it all began…
“It doesn’t matter how many women touch this body, only one woman has ever touched this soul.”
Ryan Pierce doesn’t come from much, doesn’t ask for much, and doesn’t expect much. And he’s come to accept that, until, Alana Remington. Alana is the girl who struck the match that lit his world on fire. She’s the girl who opened his eyes to more. Who made him believe that just because you have nothing, doesn’t mean you are nothing. And he loves her fiercely for it. But, just because you come together, doesn’t mean you stay together. One fateful decision rips Ryan and Alana apart and neither of them are ever the same again.
For five years he’s regretted that decision, but the deep seeded anger, shame and resentment has kept him from reaching out. And over those five years, a series of moments have spun Ryan’s world in a direction he never saw coming. A world ruled by endless nights, infinite women and the name Jack the Stripper. A world, unbeknownst to him, that may just let two severed hearts collide.

(Stripped From You is a Prequel to Strip Me Bare)

Note- Stripped From You can be read as a stand-alone novel, but the author
suggests reading Strip Me Bare first.

Excerpt:

“Do you trust me?”

“Of course not, I just met you.”

“Then how about giving me the benefit of the doubt?”

She raises an eyebrow at me, and before I give her a chance to
respond I slam the shot then pull her face to mine. And as my mouth covers
hers, heat rapidly spreads through my body.

She’s momentarily stunned. Her body
is rigid against me, but then she relaxes, parts her lips and lets the tart
liquid slide into her mouth.

I
can’t believe I just did that.

I
can’t believe she just let me.

After she swallows, she lets her lips linger, sucking up the taste of
the sweet shot, causing my nervous system to shift into hyper-drive. We break
apart slowly, but I refuse to let go of the nape of her neck. She just stares
up at me with these enthralling eyes I know I’ll never be able to resist.

“Do you always break the rules?” she asks.

“No, not usually, but you seem to make me want to do crazy things.”

“Was that crazy?”

“Let’s do it again and find out.”

I lick my lower lip, tasting the sweet remnants of her lip gloss
before I drop another shot. I pause for just a beat before lean down and press
my mouth back to hers and let the alcohol flow between us. I flick my tongue
against her teeth right before I pull away. I shouldn’t like this so much, but
I do. I like the way she looks, the way she feels, they way she smells.

There’s
something about her, something ventilating; like she oxygenates the atmosphere.

I catch the cool beats to a song I recognize pumping though the air.
“Do you want to dance?” I ask her.

“You can dance?”

“There’s only one thing I can do better.” I smirk.

Alana cocks her eye brow suggestively.

“Draw.” I fire back. “The only thing I can do better is draw. Dirty
girl.” I tease as I grab her hand and lead her out to the dance floor knowing
Mac will look after our drinks.

Once we find a comfortable spot, I start to move to the smooth
rhythm, leaving a little room between us so it doesn’t feel like I’m forcing
myself on her. Drake sings coolly about hot love and affection as we move in
sync to the beat, our bodies brushing and grazing as the music plays on, then
finally coming together in a comfortable unison. I wrap one hand around her
waist as I roll my hips into hers, pressing our bodies as close as they can possibly
get. Alana runs her hands up my chest and hooks her arms lightly around my neck
keeping tempo with the music. She moves lithely against me, inducing my heart,
thoughts, and pulse to race.

Fuck, I’m
drowning in want for this girl.
I slide my hands up under her shirt and
caress the smooth, soft skin of her lower back as she nuzzles her face into my
neck, her warm breath skating across my collarbone, making me instantly hard.

Damn.

She lifts her head and meets my stare, which I know is filled with
lust and unrepentantly wanton. She bites her lower lip, our bodies still jiving
to the slow seductive music. In a brazen move, I slip my hand up the back of
her bare thigh and cup her ass cheek under the hem of her short shorts. She
gasps as I work my fingers against her, massaging the fleshy part of her
bottom. I’m absolutely aching being this close to her, touching her, stroking
her, grinding against her.

“Are you sure drawing is the only thing you can do better?” she pants
in my ear.

“I may have had more lovers than you, and I may take my
clothes off for countless women, but you are the only one who can strip me
bare.”

Do you ever stop loving someone just because
they’re gone? Five years ago Ryan Pierce disappeared from Alana Remington’s
life without leaving so much as a post-it note behind. He was the one she gave
her heart to, her soul to, and her virginity to.  So imagine her surprise when she finds him
dancing at one of NYC’s hottest male revues as Jack the Stripper.

Ryan never stopped loving Alana, and now that she
serendipitously dropped back into his life, he’s vowed never to lose her
again.  But being together has its costs,
and challenges Alana isn’t sure she can handle.

She finally has Ryan back; but how in the world is
she supposed to share the love of her life with half of the women in New York
City?
Excerpt:

We stop in front of some hanging crystals. They
clink as Ryan pushes them aside, “after you.”
I walk under an orange spotlight, into a small space with a white
leather couch deep enough to lie on and walls a warm golden yellow.

Ryan steps in behind me and presses his body flush
against mine. My mind races.
Is he really going to do this?

Am I really going to let him?

Can I even handle this? Five minutes ago he was
with another woman. Quite possibly in this same room doing God only knows
what.

“Why do you do this Ryan?” I expel. I know he
explained it in words, but I need to experience it to truly understand.

He ambles around me so close; the only thing
separating us is a whisper of air.
“I told you, the money,” he says as he unbuttons
his shirt.

“You said women too,” I watch him cautiously, my
gaze jumping between his eyes and his chest.

“That was before you walked back into my life.
You’re the only woman I want to touch now. The others, like you saw before,
it’s just an act. A business transaction. It’s what I have to do to get what I
want.”

“Doesn’t it make them feel used?” I flick my eyes
up at him.

“It mustn’t. They always come back.”

“You like it. I saw your face. That wasn’t an
act.”

Ryan stands right in front of me, his shirt
unbuttoned and dangling open. “I won’t lie to you Alana, I’ll never lie to
you,” his tone is hard, but seductive. “I do like the attention. But it’s not
real. It’s my job to sell attractiveness and fantasy, and I do it well. But
that’s all it is, fantasy and I know it. When I’m with you, that’s my real.”

My breath catches when he says the word real. I
can’t help but find the irony in his words; I’m exactly to him what he is to
me. Two people one and the same, both living a double life to get what they
want; a future and each other.

And that is what I want. A future, with Ryan.

I go to put my hands on his chest, but he steps
away shaking his head no. “In this room, it’s all about you,” he walks around,
stopping right behind me. “You have to tell me what you want Alana,” he
whispers in my ear and I almost go limp, the sound of his voice is erotic as
hell.

I swallow hard, but can’t utter a single word,
because truth be told, I have no freakin’ idea what I want. At least, not in
this scenario.

Ryan starts to rub my shoulders. I think he can
feel my hesitation.

“Why are you so tense? This is supposed to be
fun.”

Fun? The word rattles around in my head. Fun – a
time or feeling of enjoyment or amusement.

Okay, let’s have some fun.

I turn around to face him and our eyes lock. “Show
me.”

“Show you what?” his tone dripping with
sensuality.

“Show me Jack the Stripper.”

Holy fuck!

CROSSING THE LINE Excerpt 1

KYE

“Hey.”

I turned toward the girl’s voice as she stepped out of the shadows, not sure what annoyed me most. The intrusion or the way she sauntered toward me, all long legs and cocky smile.

She was just my type: tall, sexy brunette with enough hip sway to make a guy wonder what made her so confident, and bedroom eyes that hinted at sin.

Sadly, this devil had just landed in the City of Angels and sin was the last thing on my agenda.

“I’m not in the mood for company,” I said, expecting her to head back inside.

She didn’t falter as she strode toward me. “Too bad, because I needed some air and this terrace is big enough for the both of us.”

I could’ve left but there was something in the way she was staring at me that had me intrigued: like she wanted me but wouldn’t have a clue what to do if she got me.

“Mia.” She stuck out her hand. “Pleased to meet you.”

“Kye.” I reluctantly shook her hand. “Wish I could say the same.”

“You don’t like girls?” She slid her hand out of mine, the insolent quirk of her lips making me want to do something I shouldn’t. Like kiss the smirk off her smart mouth.

“Love women.” I took a step back, staring at her feet and slowly sweeping upward in a deliberate perusal meant to make a point. I wanted to make her squirm. It backfired, as I noted red nail polish matching her towering shoes, slim ankles, long legs, tight black dress that ended mid-thigh and hugged her lean bod, and pert tits. The frigging dress had a front zipper that just begged to be undone. Beyond hot.

By the time I reached her face, she was blushing.

“So which am I?” She leaned forward, giving me a generous glimpse of cleavage. “Girl or woman?”

Warning: This is not a conventional or predictable love story. It involves one woman and two men bound by a love so destructive it spans two decades, pitting brother against brother, and shattering the lives of those touched by it.

Dorothy Kelley is a born romantic, searching for her prince. Instead she finds herself pregnant at fifteen, and a in a loveless marriage by the tender age of eighteen.

Then hope comes riding into her life on a motorcycle and within weeks, Jason “Jase” Brady, a member of the Hell’s Horsemen motorcycle club, sweeps Dorothy off her feet.

But nothing is ever simple for Dorothy. Jase is married with children. And as Dorothy patiently waits for Jase to give her the happily-ever-after she’s been dreaming about, James “Hawk” Young, a member of the Hell’s Horsemen with secrets of his own, sees an opening into Dorothy’s life and takes it.

Carrying on two secret affairs is no easy feat. As Dorothy tries to dig herself out of the mess she’s created, covering one mistake with another, tragedy strikes, nearly costing Dorothy her life and that of her unborn son.

What follows is a long and painful journey of self-discovery and forgiveness, as Dorothy comes to realize that home was exactly where she’d left it, and the love she’d forever craved had always been within her reach.

This is the story of Dorothy, Jase, and Hawk.

We are all born pure; it is our journey that burdens us and leads us astray. Our mistakes that beat us down and cover us in guilt and shame, burying us a little more with each passing hardship. It is up to us to dig ourselves out, to come to terms with our faults, to embrace not only our imperfections but those of the ones we love, and to once again find the path we strayed from.

BAM!

MASQUERADE excerpt

What gives me an ache in my chest is the fact that she has what I want. I haven’t cared enough about anything to feel jealous in a long-ass time, but that’s exactly what comes to mind when I look at her.

“You coming to the party?” I ask her.

“I’m here to see you.”

She doesn’t give me a chance to reply as she pushes her way around me and inside. What I would give to kick her out of this room just because I can, but since I don’t really know if she’s giving me shit or if she came for the party, I hold back. It’s not like Trevor to let someone in here for no reason.

Right on her heels, I follow her until she rounds the corner and pulls to a stop once she can see inside. Not having enough time to go around her, my body lines right up against hers, Bee’s nice little ass tucked right against me. On reflex I reach out, my hand grabbing her slender waist to make sure she doesn’t stumble forward. Damn it if that doesn’t bring up all sorts of thoughts about how it felt to strip her naked and touch her everywhere.

“You have your hands on me.” There’s a sexy huskiness in her voice that tells me she’s turned on too. It should make me rip my hand away from her as fast as I can, but I’m so pissed at her about Masquerade that I can’t stop myself from being a dick.

“If I remember correctly, you liked the feel of my hands on you. You were very enthusiastic about how much you liked it.”

I’ve always let my past dictate my future, letting it paint a picture of exactly what I don’t want to be. Where I don’t want to end up.

Drake Chambers is as arrogant as I am stubborn. A college quarterback, a national star. I thought he was just another one of those guys … the type every girl should stay away from, but he’s carrying more than the weight of the football team on his shoulders.

He unravels the feelings and beliefs I’ve held onto for so long.

I thought we had it all figured out. Two people who’d finally found their happily ever after, but the past always has a way of sneaking into the present.

With one decision, everything changes … forever.

EXCERPT

“Are you sure this isn’t your way of trying to see me without my shirt again?” I tease. This is how I’ve gotten through the last nine years. There’s nothing I take too seriously outside of family and football.

Her mouth hangs open as she looks from side to side then finds me again. “If all I wanted to do is look at a guy without a shirt, I’d stay home and browse Pinterest. At least the guys on there can’t talk back.” She pauses, a more serious look appearing on her face. “I just assumed you didn’t have a partner since you’re just standing here.”

“Well, you assumed right this time, but don’t make a habit of it. Most people are wrong about me.”

“Do you have a name?” she asks, tucking more hair behind her ear.

She’s not throwing herself at me or pretending she has a low IQ just so I take pity on her. She actually doesn’t have a fucking clue who I am.

“Drake. Drake Chambers.”

Her eyebrows pull in as if she’s thinking really hard. It’s actually kind of cute. “That name sounds familiar.”

“Maybe it’s because Gavin called me Chambers after you ran into me Saturday.”

She winces. “No, that’s not it.”

“You’ll figure it out eventually.”

She nods, her lips pulling up at the corners. “It’s nothing Google can’t fix.”

This girl is quick, and I kind of like sparring with her. It might be the highlight of my fucking day.

“Well, should we get started?” she asks as she wraps her arms tightly around her notebook. Her expression is hard to read. It’s like we’re in the middle of a poker game or business deal.

“It sounds like I don’t have much of a choice.” I let her lead the way, watching the way her shorts mold to her body as she walks. Her body curves in all the right places, and she’s toned where it counts. Not bad. Not bad at all.

We grab two seats near the front of the room, neither of us speaking at first. She’s reading her syllabus, or should I say, pretending to read it. I catch her eyes lifting from the paper a few times, watching me in the same way she watched me the other day. If she thinks she’s being sneaky, she’s wrong.

“You never told me your name,” I say, resting my arm across the top of my chair.

“I usually don’t share with strangers.”

Sitting up, I lean in close to her. “I think we’re moving past being strangers. What’s your name?”

She shifts uncomfortably in her seat, glancing up at the clock that hangs above the door. It’s good to know I can affect her in some way. “Emery.”

“Emery? That’s different.”

Ignoring my remark, she picks up her pencil again, working hard to keep her eyes off me. “Let’s get to work. We don’t have that much time left.”

“I’m going to be straight with you, Emery. I’m not going to be able to work on this much outside of class.”

Her eyes widen. “Seriously? You had time to play around with your friends Saturday.”

“Look, you picked me. I can’t do much with my schedule.”

She crosses her arms over her chest as her eyes narrow on me. Maybe I should feel guilty for the way I am, but I don’t. Besides, she’s even hotter when she’s pissed. “We’ll get a better grade if I just do it all myself anyway.”

Her comment should offend me, but she’s probably right. She has perfectionist written all over her. I bet she spends her weekends reading and studying, thinking that if she takes one day off, she’ll fail out of life.

She doesn’t say another word as she starts jotting things down in her notebook. I thought this was what I wanted, to sit back and watch her do all the work, but I have to bite my lip to hide my grimace. If this is what I want, why do I feel so fucking annoyed with myself?

“Emery.” She stops writing but doesn’t look up. Again, that unfamiliar guilty feeling hits me in the face. “Why don’t we exchange numbers, and I’ll try to find time to get together this weekend.”

“Are you sure you can squeeze me in?” she asks as she taps her pencil against her lower lip. Her tone is sharp, and for a second, I consider sticking to my original plan, but maybe she deserves a break.

My high school coach always said I was too cocky. He said it would hold me back, but so far he’s been wrong, and I’m not planning on changing anytime soon. This is who I am. It’s what my life has molded me to be. It’s how I deal with all the other shit.

“I can try to make an exception for you.”

It could be worse.

I made the words my
mantra.  A daily chant, an
affirmation—and the best
part was that it was true.
It could, in fact, always be worse.
Pestilence.  Famine.

Disease.  Death.

Any of those were
much worse, obviously, than my own puny little grief.

There were so many
people who got divorced.  Many of them
had no idea
that their marriages were even in trouble until it was all
over, just like me.  I
wasn’t the only one, the only fool.  I couldn’t be.  Just like I couldn’t possibly be
the only one with the great misfortune to come home
unexpectedly and find her
spouse in bed with someone else.

It could be
worse.  Couldn’t it?

Cover Reveal – A Fighter’s Desire by L.P. Dover

 July 28, 2014
Two is always better
than one.
Knowing a fighter’s desires and needs are one
thing, but actually experiencing them is another. A Fighter’s Desire gives you
not one, but two stories full of hardcore passion, angst, and action that’ll
leave you breathless and aching for more.
Part One: Ryley and Camden Jameson, well-known
MMA fighters and identical twins, were just as aggressive and passionate in the
bed as they were in the ring. They loved a good fight, and that’s exactly what
they got when they met Ashleigh Warren. The brothers had a habit of sharing
things—including women—and she happened to be the only one they truly craved.
However, the problem was getting her to agree to their proposition. It was one
she couldn’t refuse, but she knew it wouldn’t be easy to win. Nonetheless, she sure
as hell was going to enjoy it.
Part Two: Fighting temptation isn’t easy when
you’re constantly around the one person you’ve desired more than any other.
Gabriella Reynolds was warned by her brother, MMA Heavyweight Champion Matt
Reynolds, to stay away from his friends; they only wanted one thing, and in the
end they’d break her heart. She heard it, but the desire to have the one man
she couldn’t led
her down the forbidden path to pursue him; he also happens to be one of her
brother’s best friends. Tyler Rushing can’t deny his attraction to her, and
he’s afraid she’ll want more than what he can give her. When he finds out
that’s not the case … everything changes. They have no choice but to keep their
time a secret, and it’s a secret that’ll stay with them forever.

Girls say I’m a

me Hollywood because my life is golden.
It’s not.

But, ESPN did rank me
as a four star recruit, calling me one of the best defensive players since
Briarcrest Academy opened its esteemed doors. So yeah, with football and a
stellar GPA, my future seemed good.

Then Dovey Beckham
shows up in her short skirts and ballet shoes. Driving me insane. Making me
want to beg for her attention.

But that wouldn’t
happen, because Cuba Hudson didn’t beg for anything.

She walked around BA
like she owned the place, and most days she looked right through me…the one
girl I couldn’t have.

So, of course, I made
it my mission to claim her, to put her notch on my bedpost.

I never planned on
wrecking the one thing that could save me.

Excerpt
for Very Wicked Things
Book
#2 of the Briarcrest Academy Series
by
Ilsa Madden-Mills

I got out of the shower
and dressed hurriedly, anxious to get back to Cuba.
The door opened, and
like he did it every single day, he stepped inside the steamy bathroom.
“Think I need a shower,
too,” he said, his fingers easing off his football practice shirt.
What?
Now?
Trying to play it cool
and failing miserably, I moved my eyes off his naked chest and checked out his
track pants and the obvious bulge he sported.
Oh.
Did his lower body match the rest of him? Was it all sinewy muscle and big?
Just, yeah. That
thought got stuck in my head and went round and round.
“You staying?” he asked, a grin working his
face. Pleased at my open admiration, probably.
“No,” I said, but made
no move to go. ‘Cause I had no shame when it came to catching a glimpse of his
muscular body.
“Good,” he said, his
smile broadening.
He pivoted to turn on
the shower, and my eyes betrayed me again, admiring the muscles in his back,
checking out how they twitched and rippled when he moved. Football and rowing
had been good to him. My fingers itched to know how they’d feel underneath my
hands. Which was stupid because we had nothing in common. Not a rich Highland
Park boy and a poor girl from Ratcliffe.
And most importantly,
he was a player, not to be trusted.
He hooked his thumbs
into his pants, paused a moment—maybe waiting to see if I’d run from the room?—but
when I didn’t budge, he slid them and his underwear off. My mouth opened. Cuba
Hudson, the most popular guy at Briarcrest was standing right in front of me,
naked and beautiful. And like the cocky bastard he was, he posed for me, his big-ass
biceps and chiseled abs making me vibrate all over. Need for him slammed into
me.
Did
I say he was hot?
Well, I was wrong.
He was off-the-charts,
no-holds-barred, freaking going make-me-lose-my-mind-right-there delicious. The
ultimate man-candy, the kind I knew to stay away from, yet here I was, ogling
him.
“Still leaving?” he
asked huskily.
“Any minute,” I said in
a weak voice, backing up to the wall and propping myself up. “Just chillin’.
Shower wore me out. I might need to hold this wall up for a sec.”
“I want you to stay,”
he said, eyes at half-mast, glowing with heat.
“Why?” I said, aching
to touch him. But that was crazy. I was a virgin, and I didn’t know jack about
touching a guy’s you-know-what.
“Look at me, Dovey.”
I tore my eyes from his
manhood, blushing.
His eyes burned. “There’s
a sense of urgency in my head. Like our time is limited.”
I nodded. Yeah, same
here.
“And, I’ll be honest, I
don’t want to rush you, but I’m dying to sink into you. I want to set you on
fire with need for me.” He ghosted his hands over the steel rod between his
legs. Once, twice, and—holy shizzle, he didn’t stop.
My chest rose faster
and faster, and I tried to chill-out, but I couldn’t.
He lowered his voice. “Kiss
me again, Dovey.”
Oh. “That’s a terrible
idea, Cuba. Cause you’re naked, and I’m turned on because you’re naked. And
you’re touching yourself. And you’re
naked
.” I sucked in a sharp breath. “Not a good combo. Odds are we’ll end
up in that shower together or back in your bed doing the double-backed monster.”
“Then join me in the
shower. I’ll be good. For you.” He arched his back, his hands still doing that
back and forth that was driving me insane.
Liar,
liar, pants on fire
, I thought. No way he would he be good.
Because he was the Heartbreaker
of Briarcrest Academy. And one wicked boy.
