I’ve enjoyed Maya Banks’ KGI series and couldn’t wait to read her latest. Darkest Before Dawn delivers action from the very start. We are immediately in the danger zone with Honor. With that start, I couldn’t help but be in Honor’s corner, rooting for her. Hancock is hired to extract the lone surviving care worker. I’m not sure I would have matched the too good Honor with the very dark and troubled Hancock.

I’m sure I’ll pick up the next KGI book but fingers are crossed that the read will be a little less drawn out.
