He brushed a callused thumb on her cheek and smiled. “Go for a ride with me.”

“You’re crazy if you think I’m getting on that bike with you.” Hopping on the back of a bike with a drunk biker was plain dumb.

“Got an aversion to the guy taking the lead, sweetheart?” God, he was attractive. She found herself wanting him to kiss her. Hard. His hand curved casually around her neck as he angled his body closer and pulled her into him. “How about you hear me out first?” He winked, and the spell she was under deepened. “Then let’s talk about that kiss a little further.”

Apparently, besides tempting her beyond repair, this broad-chested guy was damn full of himself. “You seriously have one hell of a head on those shoulders. Listen, and listen closely, Cade. There will be no more kissing, touching, or spontaneous make-out sessions between us. Understand?”

His tense gaze fixed on her flushed face. The position of their bodies created a welcomed friction, and when she opened her mouth to speak, his fingers flew up to touch her lips, silencing her rebuttal. “Shush.” He leaned in slowly and pressed his mouth at her ear. “Some of the men in this club aren’t too fond of having a chick run the show.”

She had to laugh at his comment. “You think that’s news to me?”

“Explain then how a club president stays alive when her men are gunning to unseat her.”

“For sake of curiosity, who might we be talking about?” she asked, knowing it could be any Sinner, even Logan, vying to take her place at the head of the table.

Cade grunted. “Hammer.”

The accusation made sense. She’d known for a while Hammer’s discomfort with having a woman control the show but wasn’t aware that he spoke so openly about his annoyance to her holding the president patch.

She tried to scoot out from underneath his arms. “Thanks for the heads-up. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to leave and give you and your big ego some space.”

He curled a hand around her elbow and yanked her possessively up against his muscular chest, his lips pressed at her earlobe, and then he tugged on a bite. “Only a foolish man would let you just walk away.” Hot breath skated down the side of her cheek, and the proprietary way he held her body made her knees buckle under the pressure of his mouth on her skin. “And one thing I’m not, Em, is a fool…because only a foolish man wouldn’t fight for you.”

She let out an amusing laugh. “Kissing you is more trouble than it’s worth.”

“My memory is so much fonder.” Her head fell to the side, and he took it to his advantage, nipping and sucking on her neck. “You are worth all the trouble it’ll bring me to kiss you again. I need that kiss. I need you. Just you, Em.”

She licked her wet lips. “Something tells me this is going to be that kind of bad you mentioned being so damn good.”

Rebel Love is the first book in Linton’s Dirty Sinners Motorcycle Club series.  I couldn’t wait to read Jodi Linton’s Rebel Love.  As soon as I read that Em Connors was the MC president, I was intrigued.

I liked Cade and thought overall the match with Em was a good one.  There were a few moments when I just didn’t care for Em.

Linton packs in a few twists with this steamy romantic suspense.  I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next with the Dirty Sinners MC.

I was excited to read Melissa Foster’s Wild Boys After Dark series. I couldn’t wait to read just a little bit hotter and steamier from Foster.

Jackson is the third in Foster’s series and I think my favorite.  I love a good friends to lovers romance.  But we get just a little bit more with Jackson and Laney.  They’ve been best friends, with benefits, since high school.

Cooper is the fourth and youngest Wild brother.  I enjoyed this sweet, hot, quick read.  Cooper was the first Wild brother to fall in love when his father’s death left him spiraling.  Four years have passed and he’s set to win Cici back.  Cici still loves Cooper but has a secret that has her uncertain what will happen next.

Foster’s Wild Boys After Dark series is an enjoyable way to pass the evening.  While each brother’s story can be read as a standalone, you won’t want to miss out on any of them.

Wild Boys After Dark: Logan is the first in Foster’s series.  I have to admit I really liked the Navy SEAL turned PI.  Logan’s a bit mysterious, darkly handsome and like a knight in shining armor, charges in to the rescue.  Stella has moved to the city to hide from an abusive ex.  This lead off for Wild Boys After Dark is a quick page turner that has me ready for more Wild Boys.

Wild Boys After Dark: Heath is the second in the series.  This second installment starts off steamy hot and doesn’t let up.  I loved Heath and Ally.  Their attraction was irresistible.  I couldn’t help but want to see how things were going to develop between them.

I’m enjoying the Wild Boys After Dark series and can’t wait to read more.

I love Penelope Douglas.  At least I love her books.  I’ve been looking forward to reading something new from her after the Fall Away.

I enjoyed reading Misconduct.  I really liked Tyler.  I thought Easton was a great match for him.  There’s an age difference but Easton’s life experience keeps her from being a typical twenty-three year old.

I’m looking forward to reading more and more by Penelope Douglas.

A wolf whistle sliced through the street noise, calling me back to the present. I’d wandered into the crosshairs of a dozen construction workers sitting along the Jersey barriers that separated their work site from the sidewalk. They were eating lunch and checking out the girls, including me. Most of them were grinning. One waggled his fingers in a wave.

Hiding behind my sunglasses, I pretended to ignore them while I checked them out from the corner of my eye. They were the usual assortment of sizes and shapes. A few beer guts, a few shaved heads. But when my gaze hit the last guy in the row, I did a double take. And then I froze in my tracks.

Jesus Christ, it can’t be him!

But it was. I would have known him anywhere.

Slowly, inexorably, I walked toward him. Obviously, he didn’t recognize me. He wasn’t whistling or grinning like the others, just watching me with a calm expression, admiring but not leering.

I stopped directly in front of him. “Jack? Jack McCabe?”

Surprise flickered in his eyes, but he said coolly, “Who’s Jack McCabe?”

I pulled off my sunglasses. “He’s the man who pulled me out of a burning car six years ago.”

His eyes widened. “Well, hell,” he breathed. Then he broke into a smile so dazzling that it literally knocked me back a step.

My God, he’s gorgeous! His face was cut from the finest granite, rugged with two days’ beard. His black hair was straight and glossy, falling loose to his shoulders. And when he stood up, he towered over me, six foot two and built like you dream about, narrow waist rising in a V to wide chest and broad shoulders, his long arms roped with the lean muscle of a man who earns it the hard way—by working, not lifting weights at a gym.
