Grace:
A few seconds later, Noah’s phone beeped. He pulled it out of his pocket and smiled when he saw Grace’s text.
“Now you have my number. I’ll um, talk to you later then?” Grace asked as she began taking a few steps backwards.
Noah nodded his head and winked at her. “Most definitely.”
Turning around Grace and I began walking back to the houses.  “Oh my gosh, Grace Johnson. Who is he and why have I never heard about this Noah?”
Grace chuckled and brushed me off with her hand. “Honestly, I never thought I would lay eyes on him again. I ran into him as I was running after Alex, he knocked me down, helped me up and we exchanged names. That was it.”
“Well he certainly remembered you.” I turned to look over my shoulder. “And he is staring at your ass as you walk away.”
Colt:
“What do you mean Colt is moving in here?” Lauren asked as everyone looked at her. The smile that spread across Colt’s face for a brief second was caught only by me. He looked back down and sent someone a text.
Alex looked at Lauren and then Colt. “Marie James told me you took her out and y’all had a great time. She seemed to be taken with you.”
“Huh, interesting,” Colt said as Lauren looked at him.
“Wait, you’re moving in here?”
Nodding his head, Colt answered Lauren without looking at her. “Yeah, Lauren I am.”
He stood and pushed the stool back. Taking in a deep breath he blew it out. “Speaking of Marie, I’ve got plans with her so I guess I’ll see y’all around.”
Colt started to head to the door when Lauren got up and turned toward him. She began to follow Colt and it appeared she wanted to say something. Finally she was going to talk to him. Lauren was about to say something when she stopped walking. Looking away from Colt, she turned and sat back down.

Stupid. So fucking’ stupid.

Exclusive Excerpt:

“Holy shit, Aiden,” Chloe gasps as she flicks the lounge room light on and finds me sitting on her couch. “You shouldn’t have come here.”

Slowly, my eyes travel over her body, taking in every part of her that I’ve loved with such intensity, that I still have the urge to go to her and reclaim her as mine. But I stay where I am–the wound in my chest seems to ache at the sight of her. It’s as if it’s reminding me of who she is and what she’s capable of.

Staying silent, I watch her place her handbag and keys on the side table as she reaches down to take off her heels and pushes them against the wall with her stockinged feet.

“Can I get you a drink before you head off?” she asks, as if me breaking into her house and waiting for her in a darkened room is something that happens between us every day.

As if seeing the man who wants an explanation as to why she double-crossed him is something that happens every day.

Studying her as she heads to the kitchen and takes two beers out of the refrigerator, I have to wonder if she’s some sort of sociopath. She shows little emotion at the sight of me, which is shit, because I’m feeling a whole range of emotions at the sight of her…

She stands in front of me and holds a beer out, and I set my jaw, looking up at her but refusing to take it. Pressing her lips together, she withdraws the bottle and leans to the side to place it on the chrome and glass lamp table beside me.

“You’re angry with me,” she states, taking a seat across from me as she crosses her legs and smooths out the length of her skirt.

“More than angry, Chloe. There isn’t even a word for how I’m feeling toward you.”

She nods and places her bottle on the table next to her, keeping her eyes on mine. Watching me. Gauging what I’m about to do. Why is she so damn calm? She should be scared as fuck at the sight of me after what she did.

“Is my life in danger?”

“That depends.”

“On what?”

“On what your answers are.”

“Ok.”

“You shot me in the chest.”

“I did.”

“I know how good a shot you are.”

She nods, waiting for me to continue, although I’m sure she knows exactly what my question is.

“Why didn’t you kill me?”

About Played:

Be careful whom you trust…

It’s something I thought I knew but with Chloe Donovan, all of my reasons seems to fly out the window the moment I’m around her.

Blinded by lust, persuaded by love. I hedged my bets on our forever. Twice. And both times, I lost. She’s gone. And once again, she’s ruined my life.

Stuck helping a federal agent by the name of Drake Jefferson, I’m biding my time until I can find where she is.

I won’t be giving up my partner in crime to the authorities. I’ll be dealing out my own brand of justice, and when I’m done, I don’t care if I rot in prison for it.

Chloe Donovan had better start sleeping with one eye open. Because I’m coming for her.

She played me.

I let her in, and she played me. If she sees me. She’d better run.

I won’t be trusting her a third time.

Cover Reveal – BEHIND YOUR BACK by Chelsea M. Cameron

BehindYourBack

Today is the cover reveal for Chelsea M. Cameron’s upcoming title, BEHIND YOUR BACK. This book will be released in February 2015 but be sure to check out the author’s note below for some special news about the release!

BLURB COMING SOON!

Add the book to GOODREADS.

AUTHOR’S NOTE:

This past summer I traveled to Edinburgh, Scotland for a book signing. It was my first trip outside of the US and I was nervous as hell. While I was on the plane and begging for my motion sickness medication to kick in, I started thinking about a character I didn’t “know” yet. Every now and then I will get a character’s voice in my head and not have a story for them. More often than not, my books start with just one character. I don’t know where the story is going, or what they’re going to do. I only have their voice guiding me. I told myself I wasn’t going to work on anything new on my trip, since I already had existing deadlines. But of course the voice ignored me. He kept talking to me. I couldn’t resist, so I started working on his story in my gorgeous hotel room with its view of Edinburgh castle. I wrote some more words at the Elephant House, which is where J. K. Rowling started writing the first Harry Potter book. Over vegetable lasagna and jasmine tea, a story started to develop. It was different than anything I’d ever written. Told completely from a male point of view. It was also a romantic suspense, something I’d been dying to try writing, but didn’t think I had the ability to do. I called my mother in my excitement and her words were “that’s completely different than anything you’ve ever written.” This is that story. And since this story is so completely different, I’m doing something different when I release it. In February (date to be determined), you will not only get the first book on that day, Behind Your Back, you will also be able to buy the sequel, Back To Back! No weeks or months of waiting to find out what happens. You can read the two books in one day if you want. Instant gratification. I hope you fall in love with these books as much as I have while writing them.

TEASER:

She wears a wig and colored contacts the first time I see her in person. Her electric green eyes are too memorable, even in a crowd. But underneath the plain brown wig and the brown contacts and the bored expression she wears, something shines through that she can’t cover up.

I recognize it right away, even if I wouldn’t have been searching for her. Raising myself from my chair, I cross the coffee shop. She watches her phone, pretending to be the kind of girl who can’t abandon her Facebook page for longer than three seconds. But I know. I know her.

Her finger hovers over the screen of the phone, her shoulders slump, but her foot jiggles just a little bit. Not enough for anyone but me to notice. But I see it. I see her.

I pass by her table on my way out the door. I give her one glance. A visual brush over her body. I know she sees me, but pretends not to. She pushes the wig back and I can just barely see the flash of red hair at the nape of her neck, along with a tattoo. I can’t see all of it, but I don’t need to. I know that, too.

A Celtic knot.

I pass through the door and don’t look back. Her eyes follow me down the street to the crosswalk and until I’m out of view.

She sees me.

Cover Reveal – BLINDSIDED by Emma Hart

Emma Hart’s brand new series BY HIS GAME starts off with this explosive first book Blindsided!

  RELEASE DATE: January 12, 2015

From Emma Hart, the New York Times bestselling author of the
Game series, comes a brand new series where the game is realer, the tension is
tighter, the sex is hotter, and the stakes are the highest of all…
Two people. Two agendas. Two games.
What happens when the out-there It-Boy of football meets the
secret It-Girl of fashion?
As the daughter of Hollywood’s sweetheart, Leah Veronica
can’t even buy a coffee without finding her face on a magazine stand, so it’s no wonder she’s launching her first fashion line in secret. With it debuting at New York Fashion Week in just under a month, extra time in the spotlight is the last thing she needs.
The son of the best quarterback the league has ever seen, filling legendary shoes as the L.A. Vipers’ quarterback was inevitable for Corey Jackson. So was meeting Leah Veronica—the first girl to hand him his ass without putting a hair out of place.
Getting the handsome, prickly blonde into his bed becomes his number one goal. But getting the sexy, over-confident footballer the hell away from her becomes Leah’s—at least until she realizes the best way to do that is to give him what he wants.
If only it was that simple.
When Corey discovers who she is, and private photos of Hollywood’s finest find their way online, everything they thought they knew is thrown into disarray.
And when secrets are exposed and hearts are shattered, they have to figure out if they’ve been blindsided by love or reality, and if it’s worth running the extra yard to win the game they never meant to play.
EXCERPT
Leah’s Great Aunt Ada has been staring at me all night. I’m hovering somewhere between cute and creepy, because she has the most adorable little grin she shoots my way whenever I catch her looking. Crow’s feet appear at the corners of her eyes, and her cheeks flush just a little.
I think she might have a crush on me.
Again, hovering between cute and creepy.
“Aunt Ada. Will you please stop looking at him like he’s dessert?” Leah sighs, taking Ada’s plate from in front of her.
“Stop hooking up with Bert? Whoever is Bert?” Ada replies, looking genuinely confused.
I quirk my eyebrow, and Grace leans across the table.  “Hearing aid, Ada.”
The old woman blinks, then slips her hand into her pocket.  She pulls out a small, nude-colored device and fits it to her ear. “Now, Lele, what was that you were saying about hooking up with Bert?”
Lele?
Leah catches my eye and gives me a death stare. “I didn’t say anything about Bert. I asked you to stop looking at Corey like he’s dessert.”
“He isn’t?”
I cough into my hand.
“Ada, it’s late. I think you should, perhaps, go to bed now.” Grace winks at me and stands.
“But we haven’t danced.”
“People don’t dance at dinner now, Aunt Ada,” Leah tells her. “They eat, they drink, they go home.”
“Well, how boring. You young’uns don’t know how to have a good time.”
Grace swoops Ada out of the kitchen with her still muttering about ‘kids today.’
“Oh, they do,” Leah murmurs, loading the dishwasher. “They just don’t invite old people along.”
I grin. “Do you need any help?”
She shakes her head instead of answering me verbally. She hasn’t said a fucking word to me since she rebuffed my offer of a date. Even through dinner, she managed to contribute to the conversation without directing a single sentence at me.
And it’s slowly starting to really, really piss me off.
I watch her scrape the plates into the trash then bend over and put them in the dishwasher. Her dress rides up her legs, the hem hovering at the very top of her thighs. If she bends over another half an inch, her underwear will be fully exposed to me. So will her ass, and if she’s that kind of girl, maybe her pussy, too.
My cock twitches at the thought. Fuck—I want to go over there and see. I want to flick that stupid fucking dress up and see what kind of underwear she wears, and if that doesn’t make me hard imagining it…
“Are you staring at my ass?” she asks, her words slicing through the silence easily but sharply.
“On a scale of one to ten, how honestly do you want me to answer that?”
“Very honestly.”
My eyes coast over her smooth skin. “About a fifty.”
She slams the dishwasher shut and turns. “Seriously? Is me telling you to cut the crap an open invitation to ogle me?”
“No, but you wearing a dress that short and bendin’ over is.”
Her lips thin. “And you wonder why I won’t go out with you.”
“Maybe I’m not bothered.”
“Yeah?” She rests her hands flat on the table opposite me and leans over. “So why’ve you been looking at me all evening like I’m a math puzzle you can’t figure out?”
“Because you confuse the fuck out of me.” I hold her gaze.  “One night you don’t want me. The next, you’re in my arms, fucking whimpering into my mouth. Then not even twenty-four hours later, you’re tellin’ me where to go. That’s why I keep looking at you.” My eyes drop to her tits. “That and you’re
hot as hell.”
She stares at me until I bring my eyes back up to hers.  “Wow. And that right there is why I just told you ‘no’ when you asked me out.”
She pushes off the table and stalks away from me.
“What the hell are you so mad for?” I get up and follow her out to the back yard. “You’re the one sending me more messages than I can keep up with!”
“Then this is the last one!” she yells, turning to face me.  “No. That’s the message, Corey, all right? I can’t go out with you. I cannot be seen in public with you. I do not need the media craziness that will come with being associated with you.”
“You’re Grace Veronica’s daughter. They photograph you getting a coffee, for fuck’s sake!”
“And that’s why I don’t need more attention!” She runs her fingers through her blonde hair. “I just don’t, okay?”
“Why? It makes no sense.”
“It does to me.” Her eyes soften and she wraps her arms around her waist. “It’s dangerous for me, okay? I can’t explain why, so you have to accept that as it is. You have to take my no for a no and just leave it
alone.”
“See, that’s where the problem is. I can’t,” I say, moving closer to her. She doesn’t move. “I wanted you the moment I saw you in the bar.  I wanted to fuck you, Leah. I still do. I’d love nothin’ more than to have your body beneath mine right fuckin’ now. But you turned me down with that sassy mouth of yours, and now I’m intrigued by you.”
“Intrigued by me? There’s nothing to be intrigued by. I’m pretty boring.”
“You’re wrong,” I mutter, dipping my face close to hers without touching her. “I want to get under your skin, darlin’. I want to consume you. Even if it’s only for a night. I want to finish what I set out to
start when I walked up to you in that bar.”
“You can’t.” She swallows.
“I can and I will,” I echo her words from earlier. “I won’t leave you alone, Leah. I will pursue you until I get what I want. Until I get you.”
“You won’t. Get me.”
I cup her jaw and brush my nose along it. “I want you, Leah.  And I always get what I want.”

By day, New York Times and USA Today bestselling New Adult author Emma Hart dons a cape and calls herself Super Mum to two beautiful little monsters. By night, she drops the cape, pours a glass of whatever she fancies – usually wine – and writes books.

Emma is working on Top Secret projects she will share with her followers and fans at every available opportunity. Naturally, all Top Secret projects involve a dashingly hot guy who likes to forget to wear a shirt, a sprinkling (or several) of hold-onto-your-panties hot scenes, and a whole lotta love.

She likes to be busy – unless busy involves doing the dishes, but that seems to be when all the ideas come to life.

Excerpt

I realize I’m parched. The large living room opens into the kitchen, where a dark granite island and counters greet me. The kitchen is spotless, with minimal kitchenware—a toaster, coffeemaker, and of course, a stainless steel fridge. I wonder if this place is clean only because they knew I would be arriving. That would be something Josh would do.

I open cabinets, searching for a glass, and on the second attempt, a voice startles me.

“Cups are on the right, near the fridge.”

I turn around, and my breath catches in my throat at the sight. A barely dressed boy—er, man?—stands there, idly watching me.

“Um, thank you.” I grab a glass and fill it with water.

He gives me this all-American-boy grin, seeming to enjoy my obvious discomfort. “No problem. Skyler, isn’t it?”

I take a sip and respond. “Yes. Roommate, I presume?” Getting those words out wasn’t so hard. As I wait for his response, my eyes drag down his tan, toned physique, and I linger a little too long at the V at the edge of his navy blue boxer briefs.

His voice brings me back to his stark forest-colored eyes that complement his dark brown hair. Those eyes are distracting.

“I’ve got a name. Blake. Blake Everett. Nice to meet you.”

Was that a hint of attitude? Without a second thought and no shame, he leans his half-naked body over and raises his hand to shake mine. I can tell he is enjoying this, and it only makes me more uneasy.

I shake his hand as confidently as possible, and my imbedded manners kick in. “Nice to meet you too, Blake. Thanks for letting me stay here.”

He smirks, and I notice him giving me the once-over. I suddenly wish I wore nicer jeans, rather than this torn-up pair. I don’t like the feeling of being under his judgmental eyes because I nowhere near compare to this Greek god. I run my hands through my curly black hair, and wish I’d brushed it before leaving this morning. He’s so pretty it hurts.

I am aching to hear some sort of response, but I’m not sure he has one because of the delay. I worry that I’m not welcome, but as he opens his mouth to respond, a voice from a bedroom down the hall interrupts. It’s high pitched and squeaky.

“Blaaaaaaake, I’m thirsty. Come love me now!”

I flush crimson, realizing the implications of the whiney girl voice and his attire. If I am not mistaken, he flushes too, but the arrogant smirk remains. Why are his lips so distracting?

He laughs, no doubt over my shocked expression, and then shrugs as if that explains everything.

“You mind if I take this?” he asks. He snatches the glass of water out of my hand, takes a quick sip, and winks at me. With that, he turns on his heels to walk back toward his bedroom, and I hear his door shut.

It has me fuming. What an asshole is the only thought I can muster. That water was mine, not for some floozy he’s bedding. I take a deep breath, annoyed with my body’s hormones and myself.

I hear Josh coming in through the front door, and I try to gather my equilibrium. He appears in the kitchen and utters the same statement that Blake had moments before. “Cups are on the far right next to the fridge.”

I scowl. “I’m aware. Thanks.”

Double Cover Reveal – RYLEY’S REVENGE and PAXTON’S PROMISE by L.P. Dover

RELEASE DEC 1, 2014

UFC Middleweight fighter, Ryley Jameson, swore it would
never happen again. He was done with his ex, and over the pain she’d inflicted
when she left him. At least, that’s what he tells people. Maybe if he says it
enough, he’ll begin to believe it himself.
Regretting her decision to let Ryley go, Ashleigh Warren
comes back into town and confronts him. Holding only one secret back, she puts
the rest on the line and asks for a second chance. Too bad he’s not going to
let her off easy.
Camden Jameson loves his twin brother, but his jealousy runs
deep. They may be identical in looks, but that’s where the similarities end.
When Ashleigh comes back into Ryley’s life, Camden has the perfect opportunity
for revenge. Two birds, one stone.
A journey to the Dark Side affects them all, but only one
feels the true sting of revenge.
