Jillian Dodd is the USA Today best-selling author of more than thirty novels. She writes fun romances with characters her readers fall in love with–from the boy next door in the That Boy trilogy to the daughter of a famous actress in The Keatyn Chronicles to a spy who might save the world in the Spy Girl series. She adores writing big fat happily ever afters, wears a lot of pink, buys too many shoes, loves to travel, and is distracted by anything covered in glitter.

Jillian Dodd’s That Summer is a sweet, fun friends to lovers YA romance. I loved that Devaney and Chase grew up together, that their parents were best friends. I enjoyed reading how their relationship develops beyond just friends.
Both men want her . . . but can they both have her?
Playing with Desire, an all-new irresistible contemporary romance from New York Times bestselling author Erika Wilde, is available now!
All she wanted was one night of sensual bliss. What she got was double the pleasure.
When Summer Hughes is finally given an invitation to The Players Club, she’s beyond ready to spend an evening with a gorgeous, dominant stranger. Declan Burke is pure alpha male and exactly what she’s looking for, the kind of man who will tap into all her dark, forbidden desires and make them all a reality.
What Summer doesn’t count on is Declan’s step-brother, Rick Dunne, who is equally commanding . . . and fiercely protective. Both men want her . . . but can they both have her?
As they neared, Summer couldn’t take her gaze off the dark-blond-haired guy. Her attraction to Rick had always simmered beneath the surface, a flirtation they’d both indulged in but he’d never pursued up to this point. But her awareness of the other man was immediate and incendiary, and she knew that intense connection had to do with his sharp, laser-focused gaze that slid down the length of her body with unapologetic lust, along with the seductive smile touching his full lips that promised a night of sinful pleasure. Her dress molded to her curves, and by the time he was done devouring every dip and swell of her fuller figure, she felt as though he’d stripped away the nude-colored fabric and she was already standing naked in front of him. Her nipples beaded almost painfully, her belly fluttered, and she had to clench her thighs together to appease the throbbing ache in between. She shifted on her heels, suddenly nervous as the duo stopped in front of her—but more than willing to see where this meet and greet led. “Hi, Rick,” she said, her voice breathless as she acknowledged the man she already knew. “Summer,” he replied, the corner of his mouth curling into a sexy, inviting grin before he indicated the man next to him. “I’d like you to meet my stepbrother, Declan Burke.” His stepbrother? She blinked in surprise as she met the other man’s mesmerizing hazel eyes, now glimmering with amusement over her shocked reaction. “So, you two are related?” she asked, still trying to process that bit of information. “Sort of,” Declan said, a touch of humor vibrating in his deep voice, despite his more guarded and reserved personality. “My mother married Rick’s father, and we got stuck with each other as siblings. Of course, I’m the better-looking of the two.” She smiled at his teasing comment. They were both gorgeous men in their own right—clean-cut, smooth-shaven, classically handsome Rick, with his black hair and green eyes and athletically honed body, versus the more rugged Declan, with his dark blond hair, a day’s worth of sexy stubble covering his jaw, and a well-built physique that conveyed subdued power and strength. His wide shoulders filled out the white dress shirt he wore, and there was no mistaking the muscular chest, tight abdomen, and sinewy arms concealed beneath the fabric. Black slacks hugged Declan’s narrow hips and lean thighs, and she caught herself just as her wandering gaze swept across the ample bulge filling out the front of his pants. He wasn’t hard—yet—and as she bounced her gaze back up to his, she couldn’t help but wonder, if he was that generously endowed when flaccid, how much bigger would he be when completely erect? The naughty images filling her mind made her mouth go dry, as did the insightful smirk on his face. She swallowed hard to moisten her parched throat and extended her hand toward him. “It’s nice to meet you, Declan.” Instead of sliding his much larger palm against hers in a traditional handshake as she was anticipating, he picked up her hand and lifted it to his mouth, then skimmed his lips across her knuckles in a feathery kiss. His gaze met hers, pure temptation heating his eyes. “The pleasure is all mine, kitten,” he murmured. His husky voice, combined with the intimate pet name he’d just given her, made her weak in the knees. “And here I thought Rick was the charming one.” Rick laughed. “Don’t let all that sweet talk fool you,” he said with humor. “Declan is only charming when he wants something.” “It’s true.” Declan shrugged unapologetically as he released her hand, and she immediately missed the warmth of his touch. “I wanted you the moment you walked into the VIP lounge.” His candid words were filled with a seductive determination she wasn’t immune to—nor did she want to be.

Erika Wilde’s The Players Club is a guaranteed hot, steamy read and the latest in the series, Playing with Desire, doesn’t disappoint. It has been a bit since I last read the series so I was very much looking forward to this read.
Of course, the menage keeps the erotic heat high but all the emotions of Summer and Declan make this a page-turner. I couldn’t wait to see how everything was going to work out. And now, I’m here waiting for the next installment of EW’s The Players Club.

The stumble I took that had me landing in the Mafia Romance genre isn’t one that I’m going to get up from any time soon. That first stumble may have been right into Rachel Van Dyken’s Eagle Elite but I don’t mind taking steps into other mafia families. This brings me the latest from M. Robinson and Rachel Van Dyken, Mafia Casanova. Romeo Sinacore and Eden DeRossi make for a pageturner I couldn’t put down. I loved the dual POV with the flashbacks, and there was no lack of angst, heat, or heartbreak. I would love to read more from this writing duo.

Little Lies, an all-new, angsty and emotional new adult romance from New York Times bestselling author Helena Hunting writing as H. Hunting is out now!
I don’t want you. You mean nothing to me. I never loved you. I turned my words into swords. And I cut her down. Shoved the blade in and watched her fall. I said I’d never hurt her, and I did. Years later, I’m faced with all the little lies, the untruths, the false realities, the damage I inflicted, when all I wanted was to indulge my obsession. Lavender Waters is the princess in the tower. Even her name is the thing fairy tales are made of. I used to be the one who saved her. Over and over again. But I don’t want to save her anymore. I just want to pretend the lies are still the truth.
The front door swings open, and the never-ending nightmare that is this day smacks me in the face like a long-expired sausage. Kodiak stands in the doorway wearing only a pair of swim shorts, wet hair sticking out all over the place, water dripping on the damn floor. But God, is he ever glorious. Muscle layered over muscle, thick biceps flexing as he holds the doorjamb, a mischievous grin popping the dimple in his left cheek. My heart seizes and gallops. I miss this version of him: the one that smiles and doesn’t hate me. He ruins everything a moment later by bellowing, “Who’s fucking in the driveway?” His gaze moves to Dylan, who looks as horrified as I feel, but as it shifts to me, his smile drops and my stomach tightens. “You should really go,” I tell Dylan. “I’ll see you around.” He disappears into his car and barely has the door closed before he’s backing out of the driveway and screeching down the street. I adjust my backpack on my shoulder and head for the house, steeling my spine and my nerves because Kodiak is still standing in the middle of the doorway, his face a mask of indifference. I try to brush by him, but he stays where he is, making it impossible. I sigh, exhausted beyond belief. I just want to go upstairs and have a good, cathartic cry. I try to mirror his apathy. “Can you move so I can get into my house?” His brow furrows as his eyes move over my face. He lifts his hand, like maybe he’s thinking about touching me. There’s no way I can handle that. I jerk back and swat his hand away. “What are you doing?” “Your lip is bleeding.” “Don’t act like you actually give a shit, Kodiak.” “Tell me what happened.” His voice is low and soft, and for whatever reason, that makes me even angrier, so I lash out, wanting to wound him the way he keeps wounding me. “You, Kodiak. You happened, and you ruined my goddamn life. Now get the hell out of my way.” I elbow past him, almost tripping over several sets of running shoes. I head straight for my bedroom and lock the door behind me. I slide down the wall until my butt hits the floor and close my eyes, taking deep breaths. I imagined the concern in his voice. I imagined the pain that sat heavy behind his eyes. We see what we want to, not the truth, especially when it hurts.

Title: Mercenary (Gangsters of New York, Book 3) Author: Bella Di Corte
Genre: Mafia Romance Release Date: November 13, 2020 Hosted by:Buoni Amici Press, LLC.
I had something to live for.
The moment I saw him, I knew. His eyes would hypnotize. His lips would speak the most beautiful promises. His body? Made for pleasure. But if Corrado Capitani thought that he could fool me into thinking he was a good man, he was wrong. The moment I saw him, I knew the truth. Those eyes hid his poisonous heart. Those lips were vessels of deception. That body? Made for inflicting pain. He wasn’t sent from heaven. He was sent to drag me back to hell.
I had something to die for.
Alcina Parisi had a price on her head, and she’d eluded the best. She thought no one would ever find her, but I did. Everyone in our world called me Scorpio–the man who never let the enemy go. But she was a weapon, not an adversary, and I’d claimed her as mine.
Mercenary is the third of three books set in the savage world of the Gangsters of New York series.
Bella Di Corte has been writing romance for seven years, even longer if you count the stories in her head that were never written down, but she didn’t realize how much she enjoyed writing alphas until recently. Tough guys who walk the line between irredeemable and savable, and the strong women who force them to feel, inspire her to keep putting words to the page.
Apart from writing, Bella loves to spend time with her husband, daughter, and family. She also loves to read, listen to music, cook meals that were passed down to her, and take photographs. She mostly takes pictures of her family (when they let her) and her three dogs.
Bella grew up in New Orleans, a place she considers a creative playground.
She loves to connect with readers, so don’t hesitate to email her at belladicorte@gmail.com if you’d like to reach out.
After reading Marauder, I couldn’t wait for Mercenary. There was just enough of a tease that I was anxious to see what was going to happen and what new characters would be introduced.
Mercenary was a nice top off to Bella Di Corte’s Gangsters of New York. I loved the time we spent in Italy with Corrado and Alcina. And it is always fun when we have the chance to revisit with old, familiar characters.

Title: Kissing Lessons
Author: Stefanie London
Genre: Contemporary Romance
About Kissing Lessons:
Welcome to Kissing Creek, where everything has a romance-themed pun for a name and love is lurking around every corner…
Audrey Miller doesn’t believe in happily-ever-after, so she is definitely living in the wrong town. But she’s never getting out of Kissing Creek, because playing pseudo-mom for her younger siblings doesn’t leave time for much else. She’ll do anything to make sure they don’t end up stuck like she is, working as a barista in a college town, serving Pink Passion mochas with Chocolate Smooch donuts.
Then Ronan Walsh, a new young professor and walking cliché, right down to the elbow patches on his blazer, steps in for a coffee and into her life. She knows his type—intelligent and charming, yet sweet as a cinnamon roll, the sort of man she’s inevitably attracted to but is always out of her league. So why does someone like him have any interest in a worker bee with no future?
Her bland-as-oatmeal existence has nothing to offer, but Ronan’s temporary teaching position is only a stepping stone on his way to somewhere else. He isn’t here to put down roots, Audrey’s roots are firmly planted—neither of them is looking for love. And maybe that’s just perfect.
But in a small town called Kissing Creek, sometimes love can be impossible to avoid…
Stefanie London is a multi award-winning, USA Today bestselling author of contemporary romances and romantic comedies.
Stefanie’s books have been called “genuinely entertaining and memorable” by Booklist, and “Elegant, descriptive and delectable” by RT magazine. Her stories have won multiple industry awards, including the HOLT Medallion and OKRWA National Reader’s Choice Award, and she has been nominated for the Romance Writers of America RITA award.
Originally from Australia, Stefanie now lives in Toronto with her very own hero and is currently in the process of doing her best to travel the world. She frequently indulges in her passions for good coffee, lipstick, romance novels and anything zombie-related.
Kissing Lessons is the first in Stefanie London’s Kissing Creek series. I enjoyed my intro to small town Kissing Creek where romance and love should be just around the corner. I enjoyed getting to know Audrey and Ronan and seeing how their relationship developed. Kissing Lessons is a fun, sweet, and sexy romance that I couldn’t put down. And the chapter facts might come in handy the next trivia night.
